ABOUT THE HOLLISTON 5K
The Holliston 5K to benefit Boston Children's Hospital was founded in 2006 by Barry Kriegsman, a sophomore at Holliston High School. Barry was a running enthusiast and a member of Holliston's track and cross-country teams. Barry wanted to create an event that would combine his love of running with his appreciation for Boston Children's Hospital, a place that had meant so much to him and his family.
Over the years, Barry has received help from countless family members and friends to continue the Annual Holliston 5K. Since its conception, the Annual Holliston 5K has expanded exponentially and now attracts participants from all of New England and beyond. As a result, over the past 15 years, more than $64,000 have been raised for Boston Children's Hospital.
Barry is anxiously awaiting the 16th Annual Holliston 5K and knows that, with your help, it will be even bigger and better than ever.
Hope to see you there!
